Hello! My name is Allison Krieg.

I currently work as a graphic designer at a business to business publishing company called GIE Media Inc. based in Cleveland, Ohio. The two magazines I work on are Greenhouse Management and Produce Grower.

In my eleven years at GIE Media Inc., I've worked in multiple industries across the company working on print, digital, marketing and advertising projects. 

PAST WORK:

I worked at a small company based out of Akron called Consolidus as a graphic design intern. I worked in-depth with product merchandising for several local companies in the area and also did some internal branding projects as well as external projects for other companies who were our clients.  Before my time at Consolidus- I got my first taste at publication work as a photography intern at Cleveland Business Connects magazine.

EDUCATION:

I graduated from Kent State University in 2013 with a BA in Visual Communication Design with minors in photo-illustration and marketing.

BEYOND DESIGN LIFE: 

I love being active and outdoors. One of my greatest passions is outdoor photography and hiking. I volunteer and run an all women’s hiking group with 5,000+ members in the Northeastern Ohio region called Hikerbabes. We do everything from daily hikes, backpacking trips, and litter clean-ups to beautify our outdoor spaces in the region. I also work with Shrpa as one of their many content creators to travel and blog about various adventures in the Heartland Midwest. You can check out my creator page here: Shrpa
